Manny Pokotilow is Senior Counsel at Caesar Rivise PC.
He has served as an Arbitrator and Mediator in highly complex matters and in all areas of intellectual property and has successfully resolved more than 50 disputes.
His practice of over 40 years has consisted of all aspects of Intellectual Property law, particularly litigation, involving the enforcement of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has served as a patent examiner in its computer science division.
Mr. Pokotilow has been lead Intellectual Property counsel in numerous landmark cases involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
Manny is one of the founders of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and has been a member of its panel of mediators since its inception.
He was a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Large Complex Case Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators from 2010 to 2019.
Mr. Pokotilow has completed Arbitration and Mediation training from the Center for Dispute Resolution, the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), the International Trademark Association and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also received advanced training from AAA, The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and CPR/CEDR for International Certification.
Manny is a member of the ADR committee of the PA Bar Association.
He is a member of CPR Select Panels in Intellectual Property and is also on CPR’s Technology Panel. He has also served on the National Panel of Trademark Mediators of the International Trademark Association and was a member of its ADR Committee from 1995 to 2011.
Manny has lectured and presented many seminars on ADR for intellectual property matters and published multiple articles about Intellectual Property Law as well as dispute resolution for Intellectual property.
Mr. Pokotilow holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and a J.D. from the The Washington College of Law at American University
