Keith D. Heinold, Esquire
- After 40 years of practice, Keith Heinold brings to dispute resolution the perspective of an experienced trial attorney specializing in handling complex matters in state and federal courts in PA, NJ, DE and around the country.
- Keith is retired from active practice and since 2021 has been working as a neutral, mediating and arbitrating a diverse variety of cases including products liability; fire, water and construction subrogation; business and residential construction; FELA; motor vehicle, retail and general liability; assault; nursing home liability and contract interpretation.
- As a practicing attorney, Keith’s expertise and reputation was in products liability and he was the Chair of his firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. He litigated hundreds of cases involving all aspects of motor vehicle design and manufacture and accident reconstruction, but his experience includes numerous other types of products from consumer goods to industrial equipment and many casualty scenarios from fires to industrial and construction accidents. In addition, his diverse practice included, premises, retail and motor vehicle liability.
- Drawing on 40 years of experience as a litigator and his experience as a neutral, Keith has a proven track record of helping parties resolve their cases. As a mediator, he commits to understanding the complexities of each party’s case and emphasizes the importance of listening and communication to a successful mediation.
- After retirement, Keith has been asked to participate in and write about mediation related issues, including as a panel member in mediation portions of CLE’s in September 2022 and June 2023, and an article for The Legal Intelligencer entitled “To Zoom or Not to Zoom: Considerations for Virtual Mediation” in January 2024.
- In October 2024 Keith served as a mediation instructor in Temple University Law Schools’s LLM Trial Advocacy Program and again regarding expert examination in February 2025.
- Keith was selected by his peers as a PA Super Lawyer from 2005 until retirement, with awards in the Top 100 in Pennsylvania in 2020 and Top 100 in Philadelphia in 2011 and 2020. He also was listed by Best Lawyers in America from 2013 until his retirement and has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
- He graduated with honors from the University of Delaware and Cum Laude from Villanova University Law School, serving as an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review.
- Keith serves as a Judge Pro Tempore in Philadelphia County.
- Keith holds attorney licenses in both PA and NJ.
