  • Dale Larrimore has almost 50 years of experience as an attorney concentrating in civil litigation. He has litigated major civil matters in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. His law practice concentrated in representing seriously injured people in motor vehicle and other varieties of personal injury claims.
  • His areas of expertise include motor vehicle crash litigation, premises liability and workplace injury claims, insurance policy disputes, as well as general civil litigation. He has a detailed knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application in all phases of civil litigation.
  • Dale has developed a reputation as being reasonable and ethical in seeing both sides of any dispute, which makes him an ideal mediator.
  • He is skilled in mediating matters and helping parties arrive at fair and equitable settlements.  Dale completed an extensive program certifying him as a mediator by the National Association of Certified Mediators.
  • Volunteering as a Judge Pro Tem for the Philadelphia courts, Dale has been able to use his knowledge of law and procedure to assist attorneys in recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of each party’s positions.
  • His Alternative Dispute Resolution expertise includes over 40 years serving as an arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, numerous selections as a plaintiff’s arbitrator and as a neutral arbitrator in private arbitrations of motor vehicle accident insurance claims, service as a Judge Pro Tem in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, and helping to resolve many claims through settlement conferences.
  • Dale is the author of Pennsylvania Rules of the Road (Vol. 13 of West’s Pennsylvania Practice Series), and Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Litigation, both published by the West Group, a division of Thomson Reuters. The Rules of the Road volume is updated annually.
  • He taught law students Pennsylvania Civil Procedure at Temple University Beasley School of Law from 1998 to 2014; and at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law from 2010 to 2022. He helped thousands of law school graduates pass their bar exams as director of the BARBRI bar review program in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware for 40 years. He  taught BARBRI students Pennsylvania Civil Procedure, Pennsylvania Evidence, and the Pennsylvania distinctions in all Multistate Bar Exam subjects.

He currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, on the Editorial Board of The Verdict, and on the Editorial Board of The Bencher,  published by the American Inns of Court. The Inns of Court are dedicated to developing professionalism, ethics, civility and excellence. Dale has been an active member of the Villanova Law Inn of Court for over 20 years, including serving as its president from 2018-2020, further enhancing his ability to work effectively with judges and attorneys in all types of law practices.
