Art is a national trial counsel for major carriers and companies, successfully trying more than 225 cases to jury verdicts. He notably tried the first football concussion case in the country.
He is certified as a mediator by the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and is actively involved in ADR proceedings. Art was among the first appointed judges pro tempore in Philadelphia County and sat as a presiding judge over several jury trials in the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court.
Art was designated as counsel to an airport system involved in the 9/11 tragedy, dealing with terrorism coverage and liability.
As a pilot, Art is a director of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association and has been a frequent speaker at its annual meetings. He is a former advocate on the American Board of Trial Advocates and a current member and former board member of the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel.
